 Side-by-side, the new TRD...  Side-by-side, the new TRD dual exhaust uses a dual-outlet free-flowing muffler, dual exhaust pipes, and polished stainless tips. The TRD system is made from T409 stainless steel and should be the last exhaust ever needed for this Tundra.  After Kurt removed the factory...  After Kurt removed the factory muffler heat shield, the new supplied TRD-spec heat shield was bolted on.  It was then carefully removed...  It was then carefully removed from the truck.  A new exhaust hanger was bolted...  A new exhaust hanger was bolted on to the crossmember to make sure the exhaust lined up perfectly.  Kurt then installed the muffler...  Kurt then installed the muffler and lead pipes using the factory hangers.  With the muffler hanging,...  With the muffler hanging, the passenger side exhaust pipe was routed up over the axle and into position.  A nice feature of the TRD...  A nice feature of the TRD kit, it uses OE Toyota exhaust clamps for a leak-free sound every time the engine is fired up.  Kurt then installed the muffler...  Kurt then installed the muffler and lead pipes using the factory hangers.  The TRD kit included new exhaust...  The TRD kit included new exhaust ring gaskets for the head pipe and catalytic union.  Kurt then installed the driver...  Kurt then installed the driver side pipe using a new hanger that was also included.  Here you can see the exhaust...  Here you can see the exhaust all buttoned-up and ready to rumble. The kit is designed to exit on each side of the rear fenders for a clean but custom look.  Now all we had to do was lower...  Now all we had to do was lower the truck down and fire it up. The polished tips looked great and were emblazoned with TRD on the top.
