We could then remove the airbox from the engine compartment.  Before moving to the air hose,...  Before moving to the air hose, we made sure to pull the AIT (air intake temperature) sensor from the rubber grommet.  All we had to do then is loosen...  All we had to do then is loosen the hose clamp coming from the throttle inlet and pull the inlet hose and air filter assembly free. As you can see, the air filter was slightly dirty.  Moving to the new Airaid filter...  Moving to the new Airaid filter and intake, we installed the high-performance pleated filter to the supplied Airaid intake tube.  The intake tube was then bolted...  The intake tube was then bolted down to the new Airaid heatshield.  Because we're using a larger...  Because we're using a larger diameter inlet tube, a new silicone hose was secured to the throttle inlet.  With the new Airaid intake...  With the new Airaid intake hose in place, the heatshield was tightened down with the supplied hardware. The IAT sensor was then reinstalled into the new tube.  We made sure the check for...  We made sure the check for the CARB EO# on the heatshield to keep the emission police off our backs.  And just that easy, our Envoy...  And just that easy, our Envoy was equipped with a new high-performance intake from Airaid. Now all we had to do was fire it up and go for a drive.
