Before the air valves and air tank were installed, Troy fabricated a bracket for the valves to sit on alongside the frame. A flat strip of metal needed to be welded to one side to enable the bracket to be bolted to the side of the frame.

Here are the air tank and valves bolted to the driver-side framerail. A Firestone 3-gallon air tank will store reserve air.

An air supply fitting was tapped into the tank to provide an external air supply source should someone need to air-up a tire.

The rear 'bags were tightened into position at the bottom 'bag mount.

Troy chose to use hard line to plumb the Kelderman Air Ride system. Here he begins bending up the lines.

The pre-bent air line was screwed into the fitting at the 'bag. This line is a supply for the left rear air spring and was sent from here into the air valve.

Troy measured the hard line to determine where it will need to be bent in order to turn and join the valve.

After the left rear air supply line was bent, it was mated to the air valve as the fitting on the line was screwed into the valve. This was after a healthy application of Teflon tape on the threads.

The 380 Viair compressor was mounted to a pre-fabricated plate that was designed to sit on the inside edge of the framerail before being installed.

The 380 Viair compressor was secured to the inside of the framerail before the suspension's plumbing continued.

An air supply line was routed from the compressor to the tank so spare air can be replenished after it is used.

All air supply lines were expertly bent and routed along the framerail as shown.

Hard line was routed to the front 'bags and threaded into the 'bags' supplied fittings. Teflon tape was also used here on the fitting threads.

An electrical ground was secured on the side of the framerail to give the system some juice.

This shot shows all of the plumbing of the air line into the valves and the line running between the compressor and tank. Lots of bending was done to route each supply line to its pre-destined air spring. A digital gauge kit from Chassis Tech was used inside the Excursion to allow Louie to give the suspension up and down commands.

Troy and Kent mounted up the 20x10-inch Bonspeed Spider custom wheels and rugged Toyo 37x13.5-20 Open Country Mud Terrain tires to finish off the Excursion's new adjustable stance.
