2006 Ford F250 Super Duty - Super Duper Big

2006 Ford F250 Super Duty Part Kit
This gave us an opportunity to check out the comprehensive list of hardware included in the kit. Making everything easier, each package was labeled with which parts went with the hardware.
2006 Ford F250 Super Duty Bolts Tightened Down
With the bolts tightened down, the new shock hoop was ready to go.
2006 Ford F250 Super Duty Twin Coil Monobeam Coil Beam
Swapping the twin-coil monobeam coil-spring suspension in favor of a four-link, the Bulletproof kit included new drop-down brackets for the four-link bars and the brackets necessary to mount the bars onto the front axles. Here, Brian has lined up the new lower-link bar with the lower-mounting point on the axle.
2006 Ford F250 Super Duty Back Of Link Bar
The back of the link bar was held on by a bracket attached to the frame with three bolts.
2006 Ford F250 Super Duty Upper And Lower Link Bar
Here, you can see the upper and lower link bar attachment points on the axle, as well as the bottom perch for the coilover mounting bracket.
2006 Ford F250 Super Duty Front Panhard Bar
Moving to the front Panhard bar, a pitman arm puller was used to loosen the pitman arm from the factory steering center link. The Bulletproof kit drops the Panhard bar down to keep the geometry as close to Ford specs as possible.

This shot shows you the drop-down bracket being secured to the frame.
2006 Ford F250 Super Duty Heim Joints
With the Heim joints tightened onto the new bar, Grade 8 bolts were used to secure the Panhard bar to the truck.
2006 Ford F250 Super Duty Bottom Heim Joint
The bottom Heim joint was bolted to this ball stud to keep the Panhard bar in place.
2006 Ford F250 Super Duty Bolted King Coilover Shocks
Bolted on and ready to hold the new King Off-Road coilover shocks, the new Bulletproof shock perch went on with no hassles.
2006 Ford F250 Super Duty Sway Bar Endlink
Brian then bolted on the sway-bar endlink extenders.
2006 Ford F250 Super Duty Bolt On King Coil Shocks
Now it was time for Brian to bolt on the King Off-Road racing shocks and coilover system. When going this big, it was important for our truck owner to invest in quality shocks that would absorb the bumps in the road incurred from the 12-inch lift.
