Nic Germano reassembled the front brake rotors and calipers. All torqued to spec and ready for wheels and rubber, our new front suspension was a huge addition in color and performance.

After breaking down the rear suspension, the center pin on the Deaver springs was too long to clear the stock leaf-spring plate. A pneumatic cut-off wheel made short work for the offending additional length.

A pinion shim was added between the axle pad and the leaf springs to correct the driveline angle, and then new U-bolts were hammered home. Next up, he added the new red-coated, extended stainless front and rear brake lines. He finished by adding the chrome rear Fox Racing Shox 2.0 shocks.

KMC Rockstar wheels in 20-inches of sinister black were shod in 37 inches of Toyo Open Country M/Ts.

From the back, the GMC looks ready to roll out. The lack of color out back is what prompted Norcal to rethink some additional powdercoating work. Soon after this shoot, the truck was partially stripped so more components could be sent to get a shimmering candy coat.
