Using a 12-inch Cognito lift, each part was test-fitted in raw steel before being sent out to Powdercoat USA for powdercoating and Brooks Coatings for ceramic coating. The 12-inch Cognito lift for the Suburban 2500 eliminated the need to drop the torsion bars, included Uniball upper control arms, and used heavy-duty Heim joints for the steering tie rods.
