37/12.5R17 Goodyear MT/R tires...

37/12.5R17 Goodyear MT/R tires and Ultra Custom Wheels Predator wheels look right at home on the Super Duty.

A Heavy Hauler.
From the Driver Seat
When driving the Super Duty on the highway, there was no mistaking that it was a 3/4-ton truck. The springs from Rubicon Express were a bit bouncy on bad stretches of highway, but once there was a load in the truck, or behind it, the ride was great. On trails, the truck definitely showed increased travel, but deeply rutted fire roads were still no picnic at 20 mph. Ok, it was fun, but we could feel every pothole. We've taken lifted 1/2-ton trucks on the same road, and we can say that the ride wasn't much better with the lighter trucks. We'd still like to try the suspension travel out on some dirt roads that don't look like a war zone.
Time Spent Working: About 8 hours
Degree of Difficulty: Intermediate(While time consuming and heavy, the lift components bolted on, while only needing a few holes to be drilled. If you had the tires mounted and balanced and had a buddy to help, it could be a weekend job.
