 With the shock taken out from...  With the shock taken out from inside of the spring, Adolfo used a mallet to loosen and remove the stock spring perch. |  After applying the urethane...  After applying the urethane epoxy, which was provided in the Tundra Racing drop kit, to the lower portion of the shock, Adolfo slid the new spring perch into place. |  The two stock front bumpstops...  The two stock front bumpstops were simply unscrewed and replaced with a new pair, also provided in the drop kit. Remember to apply a little Loctite to the threading to keep the stops firmly secured. |
 And just like that, the new...  And just like that, the new coilover assembly was easily and properly positioned, thanks to the guide marks. Both the upper and lower shock mounts were tightened and the front end was a done deal. |  Moving on to the rear suspension...  Moving on to the rear suspension components, Adolfo hammered fresh bushings into the new leaf spring shackles. |  After properly supporting...  After properly supporting the rear axle and driveshaft, the stock U-bolt hardware and leaf spring were unbolted and removed. |

Tundra Racing's leaf spring shackle was positioned and secured into place. The stock exhaust pipe, just below the shackle, got in the way of the leaf spring popping into place. |  So we nipped the problem in...  So we nipped the problem in the bud. The exhaust pipe was cut just shy of the muffler-an easy solution for us, since we were replacing the stock exhaust system anyway. |
