A lot of the trucks at this year’s competition could be considered “sleepers,” but Luis “Beto” Rodriguez’s 2014 Chevrolet Silverado will make you think twice before taking this truck on. The truck gets the full blackout treatment with body-matched black grille, and a red-outline bowtie. The truck isn’t all hat and no cattle either, with a Whipple supercharger, Comp Cams performance cam, Kooks long-tube headers, and a 3,000-stall Circle D converter on the 6L80E trans. The truck rolls with some serious attitude with 255/30R26 tires on Heavy Hitters 26-inch wheels, riding on a DJM 4/7-inch lowering kit, installed by Crespo Suspension. Rodriguez rolls in style on the inside too, with custom red leather upholstery. We followed the buildup of this one, too. So look for some tech stories soon.
