The luxurious 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali is set to arrive this fall, available with a 6.2L EcoTec3 V-8 engine producing an estimated 420 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque. While final SAE-rated power and torque numbers will be available later this year, the 2014 Sierra Denali – with the 6.2L V-8 engine – touts the most power and torque of any light duty truck. This engine option will also lend an expected class-leading maximum trailering capacity of 12,000 pounds. Direct injection, active fuel management, and variable valve timing aid efficiency and power.
The exterior features a signature Denali chrome grille, 20-inch chrome wheels, interior decorative trim, a polished stainless steel exhaust tip, and color-matched front and rear bumpers. The interior features script on the bright door sills, heated and cooled leather embossed front bucket seats, a heated steering wheel, and real aluminum trim. The instrument panel contains an eight-inch Customizable Driver Display that can show settings, audio and navigation information. A standard eight-inch Color Touch navigation radio with Intellilink is housed above the center console. Five standard USB ports connect portable devices.
Front and rear park assist and a power sliding rear window with defogger also come standard on the Sierra Denali. Optional packages include a Z71 Off-Road Package (on the 4WD only) and a Driver Alert Package. The 6.2L EcoTec3 V-8, a sunroof, and Rear Seat Entertainment are standalone options.
The 6.2L 2014 GMC Sierra Denali fullsize pickup stands as a viable option for those looking for a luxuriously capable pickup – which is all of us, right?
