What started as a parking lot show back in 2005 has become one of the largest shows in Georgia expanding to two days and a large spacious park in Byron, Georgia. The location was North Peach Park and held over 250 custom trucks along the ten acre grounds. It wouldn’t be summer without perfect sunny weather but nobody expected the temperatures in the triple digits. While some participants displayed their trucks and ran for the shade, tons of people walked among the show vehicles endlessly.

Some highlights of Summer Showdown were the club games including the milk jug contest, the club tug of war competition, the musical buckets and the frozen T-shirt game which helped most cool off. After the games were completed, show goers were treated to a bikini contest that gave away cash prizes to the top three.

Freaks of Nature President Jason Barnes wishes to thank everyone who came out to support Summer Showdown and made it great from thesponsors to the truck owners. Make sure you add Summer Showdown to your calendar for next year. For more information log on to http://www.facebook.com/summershowdownga.
