Much like the constantly changing custom truck scene, truck clubs tend to come and go as the years pass. However, there are a select few that have stood the test of time, setting trends instead of merely following them. One such club is Washington state’s Sittin Pretti, a group that formed back in 1989 and has been growing ever since. Sittin Pretti’s famous yearly show, known as Summer Slam, has been drawing visitors from all over the western U.S. since its inception in 1993.

This year’s show was held at Arlington Airport, nestled among the towering pines of northern Washington. The show’s solid turnout included everything from mini trucks to fullsizes, lowriders, classics, and imports. The gray morning clouds quickly burned off, revealing sunny weather and the smell of barbecue drifting in the crisp northern air. In addition to checking out the wide variety of rides, showgoers participated in a raffle for thousands of dollars in prizes, including wheels, suspension parts, stereo gear, apparel, and gift certificates.
