Triple-digit temps, hot ladies, and even hotter trucks made La Paz County Park, in Parker, Arizona, the place to be over the weekend of September 23-35. West Coast Nats was in town, and that meant good times, plenty of hydration, and of course, river fun that brought back the feel of a classic river run. After a short four-hour drive, we arrived Friday afternoon to a park full of minis, fullsize, and custom classic trucks of all makes and models. Hosted by Sunset car club, security kept everyone in check, and if a hotel room wasn't your cup of tea, a tent was all you needed to camp out next to your truck. As a bonus, Saturday saw the Sunset team open up the grass infield for the show trucks, and you could peruse the aisles all day with every custom color under the Arizona sun on display.
