The Goodguys 24th West Coast Nationals held at the Alameda Fairgrounds in Pleasanton, California, played host to another fantastic showcase of prestigious pre-'73 custom cars and trucks. The picturesque fairgrounds featured plenty of shady grass areas, spacious exhibit halls, and overnight camping that made for a perfect show venue. More than 3,000 customs rolled into the showgrounds every morning at 6:00 a.m. sharp. The showgoers were treated to more than just wild rides from the past, but also more than 250 vendors, great food, and a huge swap meet. Every bit of the 127 acres was inundated with a rainbow of colorful custom vehicles. For those thousands of enthusiasts that attended, it was a memorable weekend. A good time was had by all.
