2011 Council of Councils Van Show - Web Exclusive

An uncertain weather forecast didn't keep the van fans away from the 2011 Council of Councils Van Show in Buena Park on February 19. As organizer Doug Nykanen said, "The van gods smiled upon us." Later in the afternoon, the rain came just as the show was winding down, but that didn't dampen the spirits of the attendees, who came from as far away as the Midwest, East Coast, and even Canada.

A broad variety of vans were represented at the show, from early domestics, to late-models, and even one customized Sprinter! The show represented one of the strongest turnouts for a West Coast van show in recent memory, encouraging organizers that a resurgence may be happening in the West, following a continued strong presence in the Midwest.
