The Brothers Chevy GMC Truck Show and Shine is one of those summer events we look forward to every year. It’s not only one of the best places in the country to see the latest and greatest GM trucks; it’s also right in our backyard! The Canyon RV Park in Anaheim, CA provides a relaxing area to park on one of the rolling grassy hills in the shade of the giant trees and throw out some chairs in a picnic-like atmosphere. This is a pleasant change from the many giant slabs of asphalt we see throughout the year.

Like the Brothers catalog, the show caters strictly to 1947-1987 Chevrolet and GMC trucks. One of our favorite aspects of this show is the concentration of SUV’s. Among the sea of C-10s and 3100s is a more than healthy sampling of Suburbans and Blazers. We also noticed that the show quality lifted versions of these ‘Utes are growing significantly, too. Maybe this has something to do with “Brother” Steve Flanders’ immaculate copper 4x4 shortbed.

Speaking of the Flanders’, they and the entire Brothers crew go out of their way to make the show a fun time for everyone, from live music to food trucks to a huge raffle with a giant pile of prizes. By day's end, the cool new trophies and long list of awards were given out and another successful event was in the books. When it starts getting hot out next year, you know it’s time to check out and make plans to get out to next year's Show and Shine.
