Ram will be on-site during the Woodward Dream Cruise for the unveiling of a mysterious concept pickup on Saturday, August 17, at 10am with Bob Hegbloom (director of Ram truck brand) and Joe Dehner (Ram truck design). This Cruise is touted as the largest one-day automotive event attracting 1.5 million people and over 40,000 classic cars and vehicles from around the world, and spanning nine communities along a 16 mile stretch of Woodward Avenue from 8 Mile Road in Detroit to downtown Pontiac. Ram will be part of the “Chrysler Country” in the Northwood Plaza on the southwest corner of Woodward Avenue and 13 Mile Road in Royal Oak, Michigan, where Chrysler will showcase more than 70 new and classic vehicles in addition to the concept Ram pickup. Ryan Friedlinghaus, owner and host of “West Coast Customs” will showcase two of his Chrysler-branded vehicles, and customizer and influencer John Fortuno will be there too.

So what does Ram have in store for us? Well, we don’t know, but we can speculate from the pictures: performance-based Ram Rumble Bee equipped with a tuned 6.4L Hemi putting out 450 hp and 475 lb-ft of torque. Ram just introduced the 6.4L for its 2014 Heavy Duty line. We know about the Rumble Bee of 2004 and 2005, but how closely will this concept follow suit a decade later?

Stay tuned for an update after this Saturday’s introduction.
