Friday was the fourth and final operational day of the 2013 SEMA Show. The themes for today were wheels, tires, off-road trucks and products, the Mopar booth, and the New Products display cases. The predominant truck seemed to be the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado, which makes sense because it is the fresh truck for 2014. Sporting new products, lift kits, wraps, paint, wheels, racks, bed caps, light bars – you name it, the new Silverado had it. The Ford Raptor remained a popular truck for this year, as well. Roush’s supercharged Raptor looked clean, fast, and inviting.

Mercury Racing was present for its first Sema Show, displaying a bright red DCB M41-Wide Body catamaran (boat that has to be tilted to trailer) powered by twin 1350 sterndrives and an exotic supercar equipped with a turbocharged QC4v 1650 crate engine. Do you remember when Sema used to feature these big offshore boats outside? It’s hard for these types of marine behemoths to not overshadow mere vehicles.

However, we’ll return to vehicles. AEV’s subtle and elegant Ram on 40s looked natural and factory; definitely check that one out. Ram brought out their “Bulldozer Orange” diesel dually Case Work Truck and a beach-equipped 1500 Crew Cab truck named the Ram Sun Chaser. Lastly, not to be missed was the Toyo display featuring B.J. Baldwin’s trophy truck literally hanging from the rafters. Enjoy the following photos, and be sure to check out more pictures on page 2.
