At one point or another, if you’ve driven a car or truck long enough, it comes time to replace the tires. Frequently, the tires selected by the manufacturer for original fitment are either too expensive, don’t provide the desired performance characteristics, or are simply too hard to find. Ford Super Duty owners have voted with their wallets and made the Toyo Open Country A/T II one of the most popular replacement tires for the truck. Ford took notice of the trend and is now offering the Open Country A/T II as a factory fitment on 2015 Ford F-250 and F-350 King Ranch models.

The adoption of the Open Country A/T II as a factory fitment represents the first time a domestic automaker has chosen a U.S.-manufactured Toyo brand tire as original equipment. All Open Country A/T II tires come from Toyo’s plant in White, Georgia, northwest of Atlanta. In less than a year, the tire sold more than 1 million units and gained a reputation for its long-lasting tread life and aesthetically attractive design. The Open Country A/T II is offered in a variety of sizes, from 215/75R15 to 325/50R22 to fit many popular OE and aftermarket fitments of light trucks and SUVs. The factory fitment for the Ford Super Duty is LT 275/65R20.
